Col di Fiori B&B offers a personalised, environmentally friendly stay to all guests, ensuring comfort and well-being throughout the visit.
Globetrotters and owners of Col di Fiori, Maja and Patrick, have always been fond of the Italian hospitality, cuisine and culture.Which is why they decided to buy an old ruin in the vast scenery of Umbria to convert into a hotel. The house is located between the three culturally renown cities Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio.
Formerly a blacksmiths shop, the Bed & Breakfast has been newly renovated to offer 5 spacious rooms combining traditional Umbrian architectural elements with a modern touch.
All rooms have different interior designs and can be rented either by room or alternatively the whole house can be leased.
In order to ensure a relaxed stay for all guests, we offer a dog-free house.
All rooms are inspired by a different element, each with its own unique charm and bathroom.
The house entails a lounge, library, kitchen and an extensive garden that can be used by all guests.
Visitors can either rent an individual room or the whole house.
Breakfast is included in the price of a room at Col di Fiori.

Wifi is available in certain rooms of the house, so that it is possible to fully reenergise from the daily hassles.
Access to a large garden (2000 m2) with olive trees and native plants. Private seating is available throughout the garden to relax.

Usage of library with comfortable seats and a large variety of books as well as screenings of movies in the private cinema or library.

Recreation, Sports, Nature & Culture
The region is renown for its medieval hill 'towns' such as Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio, which are all close by.
The Montelabate abbey that dates back to the 9th century is within walking distance.
Biking / Motocross
Easy day trips with a bike are possible in the region. Furthermore, there are forest trails for both bicycles and motorcycles in close proximity to the bnb. Mountainbikes can be rented close by. We can arrange bike-tours with local guides.
Renown as the 'green heart' of Italy, Umbria offers many hiking trails with beautiful scenery, many in close proximity to the house. Suggestions, maps and guidebooklets are available to guests.
It is possible to visit vineyards in the vicinity, with offers of tours and wine tasting. Recommendations available.
Umbria has diverse festivals - from music to cuisine. In July they have one of the most renown Jazz festivals, and in October the chocolate festival is held in Perugia.
The surrounding nature invites for numerous possibilities to easy up to sporting joggings.
I had a wonderful stay at Maja's place. The house - renovated with love and good taste - is just lovely. I felt at home immediately. Maja is a wonderful host - and her cooking is amazing. It was just the relaxing vacation I was looking for.
